We are running z/OS 1.4.0 and DFSMS 1.3.0 on "SYSTEM-A". Now we are planning to move a certain application to an own LPAR "SYSTEM-B" The application has it's own STORGRP and the plan is to start "SYSTEM-B" with a "mini SMS" that will contain the same STORGRP that the application has in "SYSTEM-A". If we need to migrate files with HSM we will send a batch job containing the HSM commands to "SYSTEM-A".
