I just started working with our 1.4 to 1.7 upgrade. We are using 3 3390-3's for a sysres set now. I plan to start with a single -9 for 1.7 and see if it works. I can't afford using two -9's, but I guess it would be OK to use a -9 and a -3 for the root file system if it fits.
I tried "system upgrade" but got mired in things that 1.7 insisted were in the master catalog but that 1.4 has on the user catalog. Has anyone else seen this?
