1. You cannot share across SYSPLEX boundaries with GRS, except by going back to RESERVE/RELEASE processing. Of course, if you are already using MIM structures in a CF, it doesn't matter. You cannot share CF's among different PLEX's. 2. $E;$H;$C processing doesn't happen (if you use that). The jobs will just sit there and wait for ENQ's to resolve. Solution: a few more INIT's. Big bennie: GRS is 'free'. MIM costs money. MIM is from CA.
