Now I find this quite comical, this is about the way most migration plans
go.,...
year 400 of a six month plan to get off of the mainframe.
some idiot says, "we're getting off the mainframe", only later do they find
out
after the fact that gee, that "pesky" mainframe was doing some REAL work
after
all.
so, instead of buying the planned one box to run squirrel server, they end
up buying
600 boxes to run squirrel server at only 30 times (if they're lucky) the
cost of the mainframe.
