What he actually had was the PDU to the wall cable. It wouldn't reach, so he gave it a reef. The whole site came down on that pull. >> One of our Profs was on the post mortem team at one of Kansas U's data center that got dynamited in the 70's. Very thorough review. Got down to site inventory and one thing that didn't add up was floor tiles and risers. After a couple heated interviews with the team and the FBI the vendor CE's(not IBM) revealed they had taken out a "couple" to make there cables meet. Turned out to be 7 to complete the inventory. The Prof said when he was grad, walking on that part of the floor was "unlucky" the machine crashed or went into a wait state every time. The Bus/Tags were supporting the floor! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
