It was SMS managed, but when they tried to use TAPE3 as an esoteric it did not work. We ending up putting tape3 in the Gen, and my feeling was that I could have fixed it all if I just would have said unit of tape3 actually goes to another esoteric. EG I could code something like if &unit = 'John' then set &unit = 'tape90', but because it was only coded in a filter list then it had to be in the gen??
