I have a 3494 tape library that I now need to share temporarily between 2 systems. An OS390 2.8 and a zOS 1.7. As I understand it I need share SYS1.VOLCAT.VGENERAL.
In VSE we share DASD pretty easily using a common lock file. I have read some about GRS, is this what is required to share DASD in an MVS environment?
