Im also assuming you have a new zx90 box to run z/OS 1.7, since z/OS 1.7 will only run under a zx90 or z9 machine and your OS/390 2.7 operating system wont. The safest way to get to where you want to be in a shared dasd environment is to go from OS/390 2.7 to OS/390 2.10 then to z/OS 1.4 then to z/OS 1.7, this all depends a pond what machine your are running on and what box your planning on buying. I do this for a living, if your company has any interest send me an email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
