What response do you get when you display the CHPID and DEVICES for these CTC connections. I am most familiar defining CTCs via ESCON directors, where the services of HCD make it very simply to confirm that your definition are correct. There are many posts in the archives on setting up ESCON CTCs, including many posts on naming conventions. Maybe you could post a "map" of your cec/partition configuration, and also the IOCDS statements describing the CTC setup on each machine.
