In case anybody else could use this: FFST cc=16 at startup with no
definitive messages likely means that you need to bump up MAXCAD in
IEASYSxx. What the @#$% is MAXCAD, you ask? Allow me to quote INIT &
TUNING: "... the number of entries available for SCOPE=COMMON data spaces
on all primary address space access lists." Glad we cleared that up.

I am using all the defaults as it comes with ServerPac. EPWPARM was empty.
The PROC comes with the SYSABEND DD SYSOUT=A. I was surprised to get the
error for START00 because I ran it straight out of the box under OS390 2.10
with no such issues. My first failure was a message that there was no
START00 member, so I took the example from the Operations guide. After that
failed with the current messages, I reduced it to comments only.
After reading the posts, I removed SUB=MSTR. It then began to fail because
of two other missing members from EPWPARM: EPWHWR01 and TRNSABCD. I put
these in EPWPARM as comments-only, as well. Now the task starts up and
terminates with RC=12 for reasons I have yet to discern. No obvious
messages. Log:
