That's already implicit in this support. GTTERM -- the service used by
command processors to get the screen geometries -- returns exactly what
one would expect.
We are going around in circles; of course I expect GTTERM to return the
correct sizes. I'm proposing that as part of the geometry support, there
also be additional features. For instance, ISPF screens other than
nn*80; EDIT with 80 data columns and a separate sequence number (SF in
columns 1 and 82, for a 90 byte line width); EDIT with an 8 byte
sequence number (SF in column 1, 72 bytes of text, SF, 8 bytes of
sequence, for width of 82); if user definable, so much the better
(consider something similar to BOUNDS, where the user could specify the
SF position). Should be easy enough to select with a PROFILE option.
