When two of the smartest people in our industry -- individuals for whom I have the utmost admiration and respect (and consider friends) -- leave one organization and join another, it speaks volumes. Their professional assessments of the "light" and "dark" sides of the industry carry much more weight than do those of IBM-Main's resident curmudgeon.
