It is working as designed. I just ran a batch TMP and issued a HLIST command in it. The output came back to my TSO terminal.

I think that DFHSM sends the response back via a crossmemory TPUT to the TSO user associated with the userid that issued the HLIST command. One can also ask for the output to be saved in a dataset.
