Is there a way to prevent HSM from reseting the changed datset indicator bit? I want HSM autobackup to backup all changed datasets (datasets with the changed bit on), but not reset the changed bit on the datasets it backs up.

This may be a "solution" from left field but is there a HSM User Exit that gets told by HSM "I plan to back up this dataset - Is this OK?" where the Exit gives permission or voids the backup request? If so, it can create an audit trail of datasets that are being backed up (and the having their Changed Flag reset) which can then be used by a RYO utility to set the Changed Flag back on OR pass a list of datasets to FDRABR to be added to those which are being selected for backup due to the changed flag.
