How to find out what is memory usage of DB2 xxxMSTR address space ?
Virtual? Real?
Both. <g>
Lots of ways. SDSF, RMF virtual storage detail report (need to
set up parms for RMF STC), RMF III shows frames used, MVS monitors
(Omegamon, Mainview, TMON, MXI, etc.).
If this is V8 and you are interested in 64-bit storage, you can
use the RXSTOR64 REXX exec from my web site / cbt file.
Although the question was related to DB2, but my curiosity was rather
general. What is most important in this case it is whether dataspaces
are also included.
Having value over 2GB (DB2 V7) I assumed the dataspaces are included.
Thank you
