IMHO, it's just plain stupid marketing driven nonsense. z/OS MVS has proven to be superior in managing very diverse workloads with a single pool of processors. As of now it has to manage three processor pools, three work queues,... I wonder what the next "speciality" engine (what a terribly misleaging term) will be. Wrong approach, IBM.
