If you have occasion to use GTF now, you have the option available to attack the problems in parallel. As I responded to Ed Jaffe, each instance of GTF sees all events for which monitor call is enabled for any instance and must perform software filtering. The cost of quite unlike monitoring criteria is obviously higher than running each with focus, but it is a decision that should be left in the hands of the installation rather than a restriction imposed by the control program.
