Probably a SMS volume. This is for "your convenience" thanks to the
design team of SMS.
If non-VSAM, use "DEF NVSAM ..." with volume and devt.
If VSAM, it gets a bit more murky (RACF profile) unless they are SYS1 or
PAGE as HLQ, in which case you can simply recat.

The archives will have the good oil.
