Hello: Our MCATs will be NONSMS so we will seize the opportunity to execute COPYFULL to obtain MCAT backups.
If we need to use these backups, I think that it will be good practice execute VTOC reformat and import connect. Then, the MCAT backup will be exactly equal to MCAT original and VTOC will point to correct volser. What do you think about this practice? It's necessary? If we don't execute VTOC reformat, it could be a VSAM potential risk? Thanks Chr.
