Chris - I think you are correct. After being directed by Attachmate
support to install this fix, the problem was solved. Have not had an issue
since.

I think the "note" is more of a CYA from them than anything.

As a further note, this was to fix an X-Clock issue on consoles attaching
to a 2074, not an OSA-ICC. When the console screen was scrolling, if you
attempted to type anything on the screen like a command, it would hang up
with an X-Clock. It should also be noted that this fix is applied to
version 6.7. I am unaware if it is applicable to 7.0 as Daniel is
attempting to get working. I do know that Attachmate's latest release of
Extra! is 7.11. It has also been pointed out that IBM does not come out
and say that Extra! is a supported emulator for an OSA-ICC.

As Extra! is the only emulator that we have in house here, I am extremely
interested in the outcome of this issue that Daniel is having, as "someday"
we will be going to an OSA-ICC ourselves.

I only posted it as it somewhat sounded as the same issue that Daniel was
having.

Here's to hoping that it resolves Daniel's issues.

Regards,
Patrick Lyon
