Why do you need to change it? What needs to be changed? As Kees has pointed out, be careful when changing PARMLIB members, especially those needed to successfully IPL the system.
At least make a copy of the old member with a different suffix so you can use it as a fall back. Or, have another system up and running that has access to the changed PARMLIB to correct any mistake you might make.
