Fransiscus,

The best reference document to the most standards-oriented version of LU
6.2, APPC, CPIC that I know is
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/network/commserver/windows/library/cpic.htm
the "Common Programming Interface Communications (CPI-C) Reference" manual.

Simply Googling with "CPIC Tutorial" or "APPC Tutorial" or "'LU 6.2'
Tutorial" might allow you to find other references. One I found
http://www.yale.edu/pclt/COMM/SNA.HTM looked quite promising until it
condemned itself with the third "Additional PCLT topic". So this site would
seem to be something of a "Parson's Egg".

I see I'm not alone in not knowing what DPL might mean. The closest Google
got me to something that might be relevant was the following from
http://www.commsdesign.com/design_corner/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=16506215 :

<quote>

To meet these requirements the Data Path Language (DPL) was defined. DPL is
a subset of C and follows the standard C preprocessor and language syntax.
We defined DPL to support standard high-level programming for our processing
engine architecture, by removing standard C features that do not map
efficiently onto the architecture (for example, floating-point support). The
C subset selected as DPL provides an excellent blend of high-level
programming, with all its benefits, and good overall system performance.
