I'm sure this has been discussed off and on, but technologies have changed over time, too - so I would like to ask anyone has good advice for dealing with virtual tape (STK VSM3 / VTCS 6.1) in a DR environment. We have some application tape that may need to be recovered - but the last time I looked into the issue of moving virtual volumes offsite (back at VTCS 4.1) it wasn't pretty.
So, I'm interested to hear if anyone has any workable methods for dealing with the issue...
