We use FDRDSF to move Unix HFS files.. or when moving to a new set of DASD entirely, we use FDRPAS. In the DSF case, it's probably prudent to unmount the HFS, move it, and then re-mount it (meaning you will have to do it when nothing has anything open in those directories I would think) - but I'm not a USS expert so get a second opinion.
