Just to clarify (and explain my earlier "confusion").
I have now been told that the PTFs for both
PK15432 (LE)
and
PK16765 (Enterprise COBOL V3R4)
*do* have "correct" ++HOLD information. If you are interested in these PTFs

My confusion was that I assumed (erroneously) that as there were
documentation updates to go with changed behavior and new messages, that the
document at:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/Shelves/ZDOCAPAR
would have included appropriate SEARCH ALL information. Apparently, the
PTFs have ++HOLD ACTION and not DOC - so they aren't included in that. My
error, sorry about that.
