Did you ever check the ISPF TSO Command Table to see if perhaps site modifications were accidentally regressed with your z/OS maintenance? Perhaps you "used" to have an entry for DocuText in this table, and now you don't. From ISPF Planning and Customizing:
3.17 Customizing the ISPF TSO command table (ISPTCM) The ISPF TSO command table (ISPTCM) describes the TSO commands that are invoked under ISPF. When a TSO command is issued, ISPF searches ISPTCM. If the command is found, it uses the information in the table to process the command. If the command is not in ISPTCM, ISPF uses default values, which are in the table.
