It's been a long time since I did it, but I believe if an ATTACH is issued with JSTCB=YES, the TCB is hung off the initiator's TCB and you get an entirely new TIOT. I seem to remember that there was something in this TIOT, but I don't remember what it was. (It might have been just the header with the job and stepname.)
