-----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Steely Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2006 10:58 AM To: [email protected] Subject: PTF UA17237 I am currently on z/OS V1R4 and upgrading to R7. This ptf states: The logic for defining normal data sets did not cover the case of defining data sets for IMPORT processing. When the change was made to disable the creation of new IMBED/REPLICATE data sets, the logic for the define for IMPORT was not changed. This APAR fixes that problem. Note: This change will help further remove through normal processing the data sets in an installation that have the attributes IMBED and/or REPLICATE. The logic has been changed to ignore the IMBED and REPLICATE parameters from an exported data set copy. I did an EXPORT PERM and did an IMPORT INTOEMPTY. When I did a LISTC on the dataset it still shows the attributes of IMBED. I did an SMPE RECEIVE and APPLY. Then I did a LLA REFRESH. Any help would be appreciated.
