This is my beef with all this - especially the pillocks that insist on
shipping (all) uppercase JCL with mixed case comments !!!.

Vendors take note.

21st-century programmers have to learn how to use the shift key!

These days, I'm so used to working with mixed case members, I just capitalize where necessary no matter what the context.

All of my assembler code uses mixed case labels and comments. (I never use lowercase mnemonics.) Mixed case comments impart the maximum amount of information in the least obtrusive way.

PLEASE, LET'S NOT GO BACK TO USING ALL UPPER CASE MEMBERS ON THE MAINFRAME. TOO MANY PEOPLE STILL THINK OF US AS DINOSAURS AS IT IS. THIS WOULD ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE. BESIDES, I DON'T THINK I COULD STAND READING IT ANY MORE. (HOW ON EARTH DID WE DO IT IN THE OLD DAYS?) IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S SHOUTING! AND, THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENTIATION BETWEEN ORDINARY WORDS AND THOSE THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE EMPHASIZED IN SOME WAY AND/OR CONTAIN CONTROL BLOCK ACRONYMS. EVERYTHING JUST RUNS TOGETHER. IMHO, GOING BACK TO USING ALL UPPERCASE WOULD BE TAKING A GIGANTIC LEAP BACKWARDS! (A COUPLE OF DECADES, AT LEAST!)
