If one is willing to lose their ISPF profile, another way that would work would be to delete your profile (or at least ISREDIT) and set ZDEFAULT with CAPS OFF and PROFILE LOCK (and your other preferred settings). I've been setting ZDEFAULT for years whenever I work in a new environment or on a new system (that doesn't share an existing ISPF profile). As a consultant that went from shop to shop it was the easiest way to always get the ISPF settings I wanted. Setting up ZDEFAULT is a good idea anyway since ISPF only keeps the last 25 (?) profiles used.
