Jeff, I've tried SlickEdit a couple of times .. but we (CPWR), atleast at the Boston/Cambridge Lab use it quite heavily. Works great w/file transfers, source / listing compares ... although .. I'm not sure about mainframe editing .. will check around and repost if I find anything. Jim Thomas. -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List on behalf of Jeffrey D. Jeffrey D. Smith ======================================================= Greetings, SlickEdit has what they call, "OS/390 ISPF" emulation mode, which seems work alright. It uses file extension "asm390", and it can refer other file extensions to the "asm390" profile. It has a nice a "build" window at the bottom that opens to a DOS command prompt, so I can run my assemblies via gnumake. 2 week free trial, I'll try to exercise it and report back. Jeffrey D.
