Hello; In Z/OS 1.7 we are facing problem in bringing down JES2, if some one knows the solution please let us know, it is as follows :
After bringing VTAM down, system displayed message: IST102I VTAM is now inactive we display that no device, line or job is active and all applications are also down. We issue command : FBPXOINIT,SHUTDOWN=FORKINIT System responded BPXM036I BPXAS Initiators shutdown IEF404I BPXAS –Ended – Time=xx.xx.xx instead of “ALL AVAILABLE FUNCTION COMPLETED” Finally we try to stop JES2 but JES2 doesn’t come down and System displayed message: *$HASP607 JES2 not dormant ….. Member draining, RC=03 Active Processors or Address spaces *$HASP623 Member Draining As per message code , we issue command: $DPCE,ACTIVE>0 but JES2 still didn’t came down and system display message: *$HASP607 JES2 not dormant …..
