If you use the correct logmode and your emulator supports it, you can pretend to bo a 3290, with a screen size of 62 x 160. IBM supplies logmode D4C32XX3 (I think) which specifies this screen size. If your VTAM sysprog has set things up so you can still use the LOGON command uninterpreted, you just need to tell your emulator to use a screen size of 62 X 160 and then logon specifying this logmode. Some emulators don't properly support the screen size, and ACF2 needs specific maintenance to implement if you use their logon panel.
