Are you kidding?

We had CA Datacom installed for some CA product that we never used. Then, I was going to upgrade CA11, and I found out that CA Datacom was required for that. I installed the current version of Datacom at the time, but never got it working before we stopped upgrading any of our products because the datacenter was closing. I couldn't see any reason for installing the Datacom product other than CA wanted people to use it so they required its use. I wasn't very impressed with what I saw of it, although I didn't really get to know it well.
