My first take was that it was probably a 2260; AFAIK there weren't
very many 3277-1 displays sold. But then you wrote:

Every time someone says "I don't believe in theories", another theory
dies. You just ruled out the 2260, so that leave a 3277-1 or possibly
a 3275-1 over a comm line.
