The Ryanair chief is complaining that the same security measures are not applied on the London Underground (subway, metro, stadtbahn, whatever ...) and that therefore, the measures are ridiculous. I don't know about other underground railways systems but I have never managed to discover toilets on the London Underground. Mr O'Leary seems to have overlooked the requirement to be able to assemble the smuggled components out of sight.
Well, taking his cue from the land beyond the other Irish shore, Mr O'Leary has now decided to sue the British government. I expect he has calculated that the publicity will be worth the expensive court case.
