I am curious if anyone can help me track down WHY so many sites are getting the wrong information about z/OS LE V1R7 (or any release) NOT supporting OS/VS COBOL and VS COBOL II compiled object code.
Is this some presentation somewhere? Some IBM or other document? Something being said by some IBM-ers? Just "rumors" that are getting passed along? Other? P.S. Is it possible that this is getting confused with the CICS TS V3.1 drop of support for OS/VS COBOL (not VS COBOL II) object code? Any pointers (especially to web-sites with the mis-information) would be appreciated.
