Thanks, everybody, for your replies. They are along the line of what I remembered about the issues with the "n-3" policy, namely sharing and fallback. The main reason I asked the question was that the initial responses to Meganen's question were "it falls outside the n-3 policy" without giving any indication as to what that actually meant. So, I had my memory refreshed, as well as getting some details for Meganen.
