It appears that SAS runs quite well on Linux for zSeries. However, SAS DOES NOT HAVE A LICENSE generally available for Linux on zSeries due to the lack of interest from their customers.
I find that quite amazing, that the zSeries community does not have interest in running SAS on Linux for zSeries.
