but when we REALLY need FDR, the z/OS system is down.
Which is why we provide a CD with all the doc in Bookmanager and PDF
format, plus the Bookmanager software and some Adobe Reader software to
install.
Plus, customers with an access code (provided free) can access the PDFs
of the manuals on our FTP site.
Years ago, when I was very active in Cub Scout activities, I wrote a
skit where Tommy had the job of notifying all the other members of his
den of meetings. But he found that one guy only had a telephone,
another only had email, another could only receive smoke signals (hey,
these were Cub Scouts, they believe anything). Anyways, he found that
he had to learn to communicate by many methods to reach all his guys.
Same thing with doc!
