I've never seen MORE than maxdumptasks running on our system, and I'm pretty
sure my phone would ring when other tape jobs couldn't allocate.

In my case, I have several classes with different stack values. I've seen
the case where one STACK dump is the only remaining task and it has LOTS of
volumes to dump. In that case STACK was the only thing enlongating the
backup window. Say 100 3390-3's would fit on a volume, I set stack to 50 so
they would use 2 tasks.
