When using the PCOM Send File to Host facility, users are reporting that
the
transfer hangs, and the contents of the data being transferred appear on
the screen. The dataset is getting allocated and a screenful of data is
saved in there. I've checked the options that the users have, and they
are identical to the 5.6 options which worked fine.
Any ideas ?

I don't use PCOM so I don't know what might be causing the problem, but as a
work-around (i.e. until you get the problem fixed) have you thought about
using the ISPF WSA (WorkStation Agent) as a way to perform file transfers? I
use it all the time and I prefer it over everything else. It has no
dependency on the type of emulator being used, so even if you switched to a
different type of emulator it would have no effect on how your users perform
file transfers. In fact, if you introduce your users to it, they might never
want to go back to doing things the 'old way', even after it starts working
again.
