After I submit the above JCL the JOB waits with the below message -

Then again I issue d u,tape,online -

Please let me know what should I do to access the tape properly. Do I need
to issue a mount if so please let me know the commands to do it..
What problem do you think you have?? It looks good to me. A means
"allocated", MTP means "mount pending".
Now go to the tape drive and mount the tape
