It points at CVTEXIT, which contains a handy SVC 3. Unless you are running under TSO TEST, in which case it points to an SVC 97, which has fooled more than one program that tries to decide if its task is about to end. > You used to be able to tell if you were the jobstep programme by looking at that. That I doubt; all programs initially getting control from the operating system have R14 pointing at CVTEXIT.
