Alan, thanks did just that and got back the IODF10.WORK. I have to make changes to the IODF10.WORK because I have to changed several DASD volumes so some volumes come up offline to one LPAR and OFFLINE to others.
I got IODF11 now which seems o.k. except for the following messages after an activate check (option 6) which came up with several informational messages as follows: _,I, ,IOS500I ,ACTIVATE RESULTS #, , , ,TEST DETECTED NO CONDITIONS WHICH WOULD RESULT IN #, , , ,ACTIVATE FAILURE _,I, , ,NOTE = 0100,SOFTWARE-ONLY CHANGE #, , , , COMPID=SC1C3 _,I, , ,NOTE = 010B,H/W AND S/W CONFIGURATION DEFINITIONS WILL #, , , ,BE OUT OF SYNC #, , , , COMPID=SC1C3 I don't know about the 010B message so I'm afraid to continue...any ideas on this one? Thanks. --- Alan Playford <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Howard, > > Yes, delete the WORK IOCDS file, and then - when you > go into the HCD to work > on the IODF10, it should prompt you to create the > WORK one again, with a > copy of the "production" IOCDS! > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access > instructions, > send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: > GET IBM-MAIN INFO > Search the archives at > http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html > ____________________________________________________________________________________ Need a quick answer?
