From: Charles Mills Be aware that the line count and such is not a "system"
maintained field. It
will be absent for members written with DD DSN=my.pds(member) and for
members loaded with FTP (at least some implementations). It is present only
for members written with ISPF, or with some product that mimics ISPF's
processing.
Also be aware that even if the ISPF statistics are there, it doesn't in any
way, shape or form mean they're valid. For example, anyone can change the
member line count using the LMMSTATS service.
