Over the past month or so, there have been many posts in this forum
about not being able to access IBMLink.
I have been involved in some meetings about availability, and wanted
to share the current status with you.
There have been some changes to both the IBMLink application and to
Web Identity. IBMLink went to a new
release on 12 November 2006 due to some problems with server hangs and
users getting apology pages. Several of
the problems with access weren't due to IBMLink, but were due to Web
Identity, the application that controls sign-on.
Web Identity went to a new release on 21 October 2006. I think the
first posts I remember were from 30 October.
After some configuration changes and emergency fixes, I have been told
that both IBMLink and Web Identity have
been stable since 1 December. If you see any more outages, please
respond to this post and I will try to find out
what is happening.
