Hi,
CA-ENF is flagged by the IBM 1 byte console tracker. CA-ENF does work
correctly and is documented by CA to work correctly on z/OS R8 though it
will still be flagged. CA common services finally provided us a USERMOD
which updated CA-ENF to not be flagged by the tracker but have stated
they don't have any intention to publish it unless more customers ask
for it.
Please if you find CA's ENF listed in your 1 byte console id tracking
report take a few minutes to open an activity in CA Support Connect to
request that CA give you the solution, publish it as a GA PTF, include
it in the next service pack for CA common services r11. We have been
told this is corrected in the base of r12 which may not be published for
another year. CA needs to hear from users (YOU) that they would like
this to be cleaned up in a published PTF if you expect one to get
published against r11. Help raise a SHAREd group of voices to CA to ask
that any product flagged is updated and perhaps mention you really
expected this would have been done as part of z/OS R7 or R8 support.
