We use FIXPDS in batch only - but our notes indicate the subcommand is EXPANDDIR(nn) - where nn is the number of dirblks to increase. It looks like you can abbreviate it EXP.
HTH, Greg Shirey Ben E. Keith Company -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List On Behalf Of willie bunter Sent: Friday, December 22, 2006 9:50 AM I remember that in the past that I could run a command to increase the directory blocks of a pds without having to reallocate the dataset. I would enter the command pds at the side of the dsn (when in option 3.4). Then I would enter command FIXPDS. When the prompt "SHOULD THIS DATA SET BE MODIFIED (Y/N) ? " I reply "Y". At the next prompt "ENTER OPTION -- DSN=HESPS02.ISPF.ISPPROF" I am not sure what I should respond. Can anybody tell me what I should reply? ######################################################################## As of January 1, 2007, Ben E.
