I agree, and there's also nothing wrong with emailing Darren and asking if it's all right to post a message, and, if he blesses it, including a line in the post that Darren approved it. That has been done in the past many times. In my experience those types of posts aren't followed by an ongoing discussion of the relative merits of the post - like this one...
